Tax Preparation  
     

We understand that there are times that you will have a past tax return that needs to be completed. Or perhaps you have questions about a past tax return.  If you ever have a need for a return to be prepared for your owner operator business, or while you were a company driver we are always happy to help.

Tax Tips For Tax Return Preparation

Good records help you document the income, expenses, and information that is reported on your tax return.

Business Records:       
1099's from all carriers and brokers you worked for during the year.
Any additional records for income during the year.
1099's for interest income.
Previous years tax returns.
Any paperwork for the purchase, sale, or lease of equipment.
Records for fuel used in you reefer if you paid for reefer fuel.
All expenses and receipts for the year.
Make sure you provide records for expenses you may not have received a receipt such as laundry, or personal use of a vehicle for business purposes.
1099's for any contract labor you used during the year.
Records showing days on the road as an owner operator and company driver for per diem purposes. 
 
Personal Information
W-2's for any company driver positions you had.
1099's from Social Security, Tax Refunds, or Unemployment compensation
Mortgage Interest Statement
Completed Tax organizer so we know marital, household, and dependent statuses.
Property tax records.
Student Loan Interest statements
Qualified educational expenses
1099's for interest, dividends, stock, IRA, 401K, pension, and annuity information.
Previous years tax returns.
