Ask these questions about your tax, and accounting firm: Will I be working with someone that has experience with owner operators? Or are they only working for someone else that makes that claim. If you do not know ask!! Will I work with the same person all of the time, or will I be shuffled from department to department. Your account should be handled by one contact person. You should not have to answer the same questions to the tax department, the accounting department, and a business consultant. Ask yourself if you have been shuffled from department to department, with a slow or no response in the past. Does your service provider respect your time,
